The USDA Rural designation might surprise you. The USDA says that the property must be designated as rural by the Rural Housing Service (RHS) and some designated rural areas actually look and feel more like the suburbs. In Tucson, the Rancho Vistoso area North of Tangerine Road has the coveted USDA Rural designation, as does the entire town of Vail. If the home you are interested in buying has the USDA Rural designation, you have a terrific opportunity to obtaining the most cost efficient, lowest payment home loan available.
To see if a property is eligible you can call or email our office at (520) 225-0380. If you don’t yet have a specific property in mind, just print out the map for the area. Or you can search the USDA Rural Property Eligibility Database for the property address.

I have a buyer qualified for 97,000.00 and is looking for a 5 bedroom house – where can I find the maps in Maricopa County?
i am looking for a home for my daughter she has a usda loan approved and was seeing how do u find the usda foreclosed homes in lumberton texas 77657 they are approved for 75000 please help thank you
@ Wanda – we only fund loans in Arizona, not Texas. But I would be willing to bet there are not a lot of foreclosed USDA homes out there. You can try looking on the USDA’s government web site for properties, but it might be simpler to just find a property you like in a qualifying area. Good luck!
I am looking a house in Tucson AZ and we are 7 in the familly. We are looking a house for 4 bedroom and in 85746 I want to know if USDA have some housein that area code
I heard that there was USDA funding north of Phoenix. Is that true? Is there anything north of the 101?
I have a home in Gold Canyon, AZ. We are looking to refinance it. Can you use a USDA loan for refi?
The house is in my fathers name and is setup as a second home. I had lived there from 2001 to 2008 and will be moving back there soon. Please email me as I’d like to talk about options.
I am currently approved for a USDA rural home loan but can not find anything in the tucson, az area. Anyone have a map that shows eligible homes only??
I was wondering if there are any eligible properties in the area we live in now, we live in Show Low, AZ, there are a lot of surrounding areas that we would be interested in. I am not sure how to find foreclosures and the USDA loan.
Thanks, Shirlee
Dear Paul,
I am writing to ask you if there are still funds available for usda loans in 2012.
I was in contact with you approx. a year ago to purchase a home in Arizona then my life changed course and decided not to buy at the time.
You had referred me to a Lender in California in the High Desert near Victorville California. I lost his name and number. Do you still have it?
At this time in my life, I am reconsidering either buying a home in ARizona or near Pinon Hills, Ca (92372).
I would appreciate it if you would let me know if USDA loans are still available? Also I had seen on TV that there is a Company called NACA that can lend money to home buyers that make under a certain amount of money a year to purchase a home. Do you do these loans to?
You can email me or call me at (802) 280-5984.
HOpe to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
Linda McCarty (Martinez)
